This is an awsome drawing..your line work is clean..this drawing is simple yet amazing and fun to look at..I like the white added to the red guitar player. It makes it stand out a lot more than just having all red..Great job!

over the many many years i loved doing all kinds of rock poster.. some years ago the rock group Walking Blind solicited me to do their new CD "No Regret"...(you can do a FAR search for the title "Walking Blind") so i did the cover which you can check out..so anyway the leader of the band contacts me asked me why did i do the cover like this..i told him i listen to the cd and i liked and it inspired me to do this with "No regrets'. he found it funny and cool but somehow they all came to the conclusion to just do a photo shoot of the group with a barren terrain scene. no worries..i still got paid whether they used it or not..wink..lol. thanks Chris for the great review.

A very good entry for this competition. You look at this guy and you can hear the beat. It has movement too ... I like that swirl of musical notes the colours are a good combination. Its creative and fun.

This is a very creative composition. Love the rhythm throughout. And, swirling of the music adds and energy to the art. Great how the figure is shown in the action of playing the guitar. Good detail of the guitar and figure. Very nice highlights and attention to detail with the figure and the guitar. Nice choice of colors.

i always like to kid around that cartoons is the ghetto of the art world. they like the temporary entertainment but not gallery worthy. oh that dont hurt my feelings. i dont ever want to stand out in front of my work saying some of those kookies things that some artist say like.."i created this to defeat human hunger or some kind of problem the world has!" ..lol..i did many music and sport posters over the years..felt good throwing this one together..wink. thanks Bill for the great review.

This to me is the other side of MKFlood! I know you do illustrations like this and I think they're just as amazing as your "Funny Flowers"! Love the Rock'n stance of this character. Looks like he's really into what he's playing. Love the way the bars flow around him to. They give you the flow of the music. You not only FEEL the music. In my mind I can hear it! I really like this art style! I like the music notes and lines, and I like that the man playing the guitar is all colored in, except for white highlights! And the black background makes the colors pop! Great Job, and good luck in the contest!

Well thanks charuke as well as the well wishes. Cartoons usually dont do well in some art topics contest but i still throw it on anyway. The committee judge the majority by art standards and cartoons are just a filler for the contest. No worries i use these in music videos so i get use out of them anyway..thanks for the great review

When I look at your artwork- the classic 1974 song popularized by The Righteous Brothers comes to my mind- Rock And Roll Heaven.
