An eye catching abstraction with fantastic colors. I might like the trees to be more assertive and the basket weave to be less so. Best of luck in the contest.

How original! I couldn't begin to do the basket weave. It really makes the photo what it is. I love the red and orange colors of fall. There is something very special about this that I can't give words to. Perhaps the 6 will help you understand how much I like it.

oh i thought my eyes started to see things in a basket weave..whew imn glad its just a photo..wink..lol. cool approach. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shof this colorful woods is great. cool blend of images. the creation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. creative approach and great job overall.

Your mixed media is interesting. The filters, especial the wave-pattern filter, changed the landscape into an abstract. It does not look like Aspen Woods anymore, but like a basket. The colors are beautiful. Your mixed media creation is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
