This truly looks great Steve, and I especially like the deep blue color of the sea, and the golden colors of the jelly fish. It is probably your creative editing bring out these lovely colors, because as far as I know the Man of War is more blue. But I love it.
The photo is pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the jelly fish, and the exposure is spot on.
The format and framing is perfect, and I also like the slight diagonal placement of the jelly fish. I think this is a great looking and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

Thank you so much Annie for your artistically detailed review and More than generous rating. You are right in that the Man of War is more bluish. The aquarium lights varied from green to blue to a yellow. I captured them in all lights and the best images came from the yellow lights (with the help from a bit of editing). Thank you again Annie ~ Steve

Excellent image Steve. Love how you've shown the beauty of such a dangerous creature. The colours really pop! Looks like a painting of some sort of fungus. Great composition. Suzanne

This is a great view of the Portuguese Man of War.
It would be frightening to encounter this creature in the ocean waters while swimming.
Wonderful details.
Good focus and clarity.
Love the background of electrifying colors and placement.

Yeah! One of these things latched onto a Pharmacist that I used to work with using it's hundred foot long tentacles while she was swimming in the ocean off of Galveston,Texas on a vacation years ago and did one hell of a job on her!
( She ached from the stings caused by it's nematocysts for years after that encounter! )
Your photograph of this unusual and venomous 'colony animal' is great,Steve!
