At first I thought this was a photo! What a great job,the colors are all natural looking,especially like the cool blue encircling that intense red eye,and I like the realistic looking wood in the background. A very lovely image of this sweet dove!

i love your subject and his placement across the wood. I do love the blue color around his eye and bit of purple patch. It is just a little fuzzy like you tried to enlarge it and lost a bit of detail.

I did not enlarge it. I posted the original size of my painting.
The leak of sharp detail at the also painted background is intentional, in order to emphasize the Dove. :o)

I love this! I really can't tell that this was done digitally. It looks like a real oil painting to me. I love your colours and all the textures you've achieved. The detail in the feathers is excellent and the way you painted the background rocks so loosely adds so much interest. Really well done!

There are several kinds of digital art. I paint in traditional style as I would on canvas, brush stroke by brush stroke. My program [ArtRage} allows to chose my canvas or art paper texture, and my tools [brushes, pens etc.]. I move my tools on a touch pad. It is a bit like finger painting, although, more complicate. :o)
