Wow, I think you out did your FOX drawing. The texture of the skin is realistic. It look like if you touched it would feel wrinkly and bumpy. The colors you used are great. Awesome job.

Nice piece here Janice! You captured the highlights and reflected light so well, it really brings him to life. The details you gave his skin are so life like, shows off your skills nicely. I like the expression you captured in his eye, these are powerful animals, yet they seem so docile. The background isn't distracting and he is placed well within the frame. There is a silent but, tumultuous energy to the animal. It is also known to have a short fuse!
Wonderful iridescence throughout adds the aged look of the rhino. Nice use of the pastels. Wonderful details of the face with the wrinkles and the folds. Cautious eyes immediately capture the viewer's attention.
Fun to view.

There is a silent but, tumultuous energy to the animal. It is also known to have a short fuse!
Wonderful iridescence throughout adds the aged look of the rhino. Nice use of the pastels. Wonderful details of the face with the wrinkles and the folds. Cautious eyes immediately capture the viewer's attention.
Fun to view.
