Your idea to create such a wonderful presentation with your original pictures are so attractive as always, and you cannot hide, lol - this time you added a special border in a way that it does not look like a picture as it is alive in all section in three D form - a wonderful angel and position your background is fantastic as you created energies radiating out of the flower - the color combination is more than excellent - all the best for the contest, xoxo

Visual impact is off the scale here. First - the burst of Orange just grabs the eye and forces the viewer to pay close attention to the blossom. Second - the placement of the leaves is a calming and soothing respite from the earlier color overload. Third - the fractal is a reminder of the subject matter and kind of acts as a boundary. Fourth - your application of the frame with some leaves and part of one petal outside the frame is inspired.
The angle of the light on the flower produces just enough shadow to tone down the Orange burst. Detail in the leaves is excellent, I can see fine focus of the veins and crenulations.
However what, to my eyes, sends this piece off the "Creativity of presentation" scale is the ingenious use of a diagonal rule of thirds with diminishing centers of interest - Masterful.
This piece will do well ... Bob P B-))

This picture makes me long for summer also. Your photo is perfect focused and exposed and adequately treated with mixed media. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The frame within the frame emphasizes the Poppy profoundly. The mixed media is excellent composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
