I love this experimental rendition where you restored the colour of the clicked flower but made the rest of background monochrome. This brings out the full charm of this poppy variant in the created contrast. Such a gorgeous viewing experience- kudos for sharing this

This flower is beautiful. The color of the petals looks especial appealing on the monochromatic background. Your photo has good depth and is excellent focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. I appreciate the refinement of detail and textures. The mixed media is well composed and framed. The flower is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

The selective coloring that you've applied to that 'happy' little blossom really makes this image SHINE,and that's especially cheering now as 'the dead of winter' settles in and dreariness will be 'the order of the day' for (what'll feel like) a good long time now!
