This is such a wonderful photograph of a dahlia. It looks very dramatic that it's in black-and-white. These are one of my favorite flowers to draw. The petals are so beautiful and the colors of these flowers can be so beautiful as well. Wonderful photography my friend thank you so much for sharing.

Your photo has good depth and is excellent focused, composed and treated with mixed media. The mixed media is expertly composed and framed. The tight framing is adequate. The composition is balanced.

This photo really looks great in black and white, and what I like the best is the fine distinctions between dark and light in the flower. The Light is also falling on the Dahlia in such a lovely way, and it is standing out well from the background.
The photo is sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in the petals of the flower, and the exposure is perfect.
I also like the tight cropping and the format, and the flower has got such a fine placement within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo Jodi, and with an excellent DOF.
