Oh my goodness Cleo! This is fabulous ! I actually bought a small orange rose bush and I'm so impressed by how gorgeously you have created this orange rose blossom ! Such accurate details allowing such a good sense of this flowers shape and structure, the orange tones are masterfully applied, your show of the light and shaded areas Is perfect!

The depth of colors you have achieved with this painting is very impressive! The light falling on the pretty orange rose is so appealing and your shadows nicely realistic. I like that the background follows the shape of the rose, swirling around and creating wonderful shape within the square frame. Beautiful work!
