I like your color palette a lot, with a monochromatic look to it. Your composition is great in not showing the entire rose, it adds interest.

My program is ArtRage 5.1.2 pro. It allows me to choose canvas textures and tools and mix my colors. I paint with my fingers on the touch pad of my laptop. It's aq bit like fingerpainting, but more complicated. :o)
