It's a magnificent picture Susan. I find a heron so beautiful what is a long gated body long neck long beak. He is so elegant. I love the ripples in the water you've captured and his reflection. Excellent work my dear friend thank you so much for sharing

A very fine shot. The heron and his catch are well located in the frame and shown in excellent detail. The colors are great and I particularly like the look of the water.

I must say this is a very nice photo of a bird of prey feeding and catching his catch, love the colours of a heron, ours have arrived but I really have not seen any yet. It is still pretty cold here. Our flowers are behind this year as we keep getting cold nights and snow lol

Oh that bird is just about to grab his prey..lol. nice capture..the border is great. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this bird hunting in the water is great..the capture of the light is great..the presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.
