This is a great capture of an interesting castle in Ireland. That's someplace I've always wanted to go because my ancestry is there and is such a beautiful country. Were you able to go inside the castle? You did a great job capturing it.

Hi Nikman!
It's a beautiful picture and it's subject is genuinely interesting!
One can see the 'modern'
( middle ages modern! ) continental influences in the castle's structural features easily!
I don't know anything about Photoshop but I think the picture is Outstanding! : D

Awesome view of the castle! What an amazing structure! You have brought out the texture so very well.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, nice composition, well presented!

This is a wonderful scene, the stone-set castle remains. Must have been a safe and fortified dwelling at one time. Still stands tall and relatively strong but yielding to the elements. Thank you for sharing this beautiful example old medieval architecture. Ray

Nik,
A beautiful picture of that massive Medieval castle ruin on the Antrim coast in Northern Ireland the seat of Clan McDonnell. That I remember driving past on our way back to Dublin, from the Giant's Causeway, wishing I'd time to explore it. Artistic composition, framed by the grass covered hills in the foreground & the cloudy mackerel sky above.
Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Susan.

We had just one day drive up from Dublin to explore Loughgall (Where our Irish American Great Grandfather was born) the Giant's causeway, the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge & get back in time for the Family to meet the American cousins who were staying with me!

Great looking shot!. Fine example of architecture photography of bygone days.. Your framing appears to be perfect and you have captured the beauty of the crumbling castle very well.

A great looking old castle and a beautiful shot too. The detail in the "stonework" is amazing and that hill in the foreground contrasts nicely with the castle.
