Pink roses are so delicate. The peeling petals show the tenderness of the bloom. The dark framing enhances DOF of the rose. I might have knocked down the light just a touch to reduce the lighting on the internal petals of the rose. Just a thought.

This is really stunning!!! Another one I want to paint!!!! The delicate petals are so well captured, they have so much depth with their subtle colour changes. The angle of this is just perfect with the leaves catching the light just out focus!!! The black background and lighting, really makes it stand out. So well done!! This is a winner in my book!! Great job!!
