Pat, perfect execution of a low light subject with great clarity seen in the most important parts of the bird.
Stunning visual with excellent colors and background is superb!!

Although i quite like this Pat i am struggling a bit with the overall darkness in this, think its a good one but just needs a bit more light in this, more so in the bird even though detail is there in this...Brian

A very striking shot. The starling looks great in that dark setting. I like the way the light strikes his plumage and the great detail in his eye.

Cool! : D
It's a rather 'shadowy' presentation but that certainly doesn't bother me at all!
I'm reminded of the thrillingly unusual
'Hell-scape' paintings of Hieronymus Bosch from the middle ages when I look at it!
Awesome!

You have done such an outstanding job capturing this bird. I can't get over the gorgeous details of his feathers. He is really outstanding. I really love the dark background. You've done an incredible job taking the shot thank you so much for sharing my talented friend.

Wow, love this. The light is fantastic as is focus. I like to how the color shades of brown blend softly together. Even including the muted brown background. Very enjoyable indeed.

Fine capture of this bird. At first glance I didn't realize what it was but then the colors and the way the light glints on certain places, fine indeed. Would be even better probably or all of the starling seen better if the background was a little lighter in places in order for the darling bird to pop more.

This is a tough one for my bifocals. That fact that you were able get enough light to have the details you have captured is amazing. The starling appears to almost be irredentisent. This has a painting quality that would be amazing and hard to tell which would be which. Beautiful shot.
