A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us a enjoyable views of both the plant and its strange blooms. Colours, textures and tones are good.
Exposure and sharpness are fine. Nicely done!

The bush itself is known as a Firespike Plant it usually just red tubular flowers that the hummingbirds and butterflies are attracted to. But never have I seen this develop at the end of the spike.

Yes it is fascinating, beautiful as well, with the flower colors and twisting including the reds and design at bottom, a little behind on the right and the lovely greenery well done.

This flower is intriguing , I have never seen anything like this, I love it though, it has the color pattern very similar to a pattern have seen on an orchid. It also makes me think of an aquatic plant.
You have captured it so well with good focus, this image is sharp and clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones appear natural. The bright red portions are also very fascinating.
Well composed and presented! Thank you so much for sharing this !

Thank you very much Pat. It's a Firespike plant, good for butterflies and Hummingbirds. But I have never seen this before at the end of the spike.

Thank you very much for your review. I've had the plant known as a Firespike plant for several years but it has never developed a cockscomb- like end on the flower stem.
