Thanks so much Fred! I don?t have a problem with the pigeons in my yard , they are always very cautious because of my dogs.

Excellent portrait of this pigeon. I love his pose and the colour purple that you have highlighted in your close crop. Clarity in all details is marvellous, especially his orange eye.

Ha a real good pidgeon photo not often we see pidgeon photos aybe because most see them as pests more so in the uk,good detail and the vertical format suits this one well,good photo...Brian

The pigeon is beautiful even if it is a common bird; I agree with you. The colors, especially the purples and the brightness and color of the eye. The background is so well done also. Outstanding photography of a stunning pigeon portrait.

An amazing capture of this pretty pigeon! I like the close up aspect that shows us the excellent details and textures as well as the lovely gradient of gray to purple! His bright clear eye is highlighted wonderfully well with his intelligence nicely shown. The framing and composition is wonderful!

Thank you so much Jodi, the pigeons are always cautions in my yard, they spend some time up on the roofs to be sure my dogs are out . I think they are so pretty though!

What a pretty bird. The profile is detailed and so well lit. He looks so regal. The DOF is almost 3D. His eye is the focal point of the shot. I like your crop as we get to see his detailed feather pattern.

It looks like he is saying "What do you want?" This is a really good photo of a pigeon. Great focus. I do like how the color of the eye stands out. You framed him very well. I like how the background is blurred so the pigeon stands out.

A beautiful profile portrait of this Feral Pigeon just like the ones in my garden. Their purple iridescence is beautiful when the light catches it. The light is sparkling in it's eye as it stands out from the dappled grey background.
