This woman Clara Latshaw was a dedicated member of the community and has been honored by this fine bronze statue. This statue is in fine surroundings and is framed shadowed by her hat and blue sky at her back. You just have to admire a person who thinks so much of others in the community. If you had not made mention of your mixed media efforts I would taken this as a very fine digital camera image.
I was never satisfied with my own statuary takes. The quality of this shot is what I had hoped to achieve with my own efforts.
I like the way you captured the flavor of the statues patina. It amplifies her determination especially the eyes.
You captured every detail of this wonderful piece of sculpture and highlighted them.
