A very traditional country folk art style. I love the vertical display of the mailbox. Your style is so clean and the minimalism of the subject matter. I appreciate the simple view of the mailbox and reeds. THere doesn't have to be a bunch of clutter to make a lovely scene. Great job and I could see this framed with a barnwood frame with grey and medium brown mats. We used to own a frame shop.

A good looking image posted here into the competition. Your fine and full composition gives an enjoyable view of that mailbox and it's location. Colours, textures and tones are good. Nicely painted and good luck!

I am particularly fond of original art created from the mind and hand of an artist. This composition is a fine example of the former.
This is a strong piece, done by a strong hand and mind. There is a rural flavor that speaks to my own rural upbringing. The color tones of the mailbox contrast so elegantly with the impressionist strokes of blue sky background - understated accentuates the subject.
What I like most of all about this piece of fine art is that it is a gift born of your mind and given from your heart. That gesture is precious beyond measure and everlasting.

I especially like that the mailbox post is standing inside of what appears to be an old milk can, I like the way the grasses grow up around it, this has an out in the country feel.
The mailbox is well created, it's size snd shape are accurate, I love the open door that reveals a bird has made a nest .
Nice sky background with the white clouds moving over the blue.
Well created, nicely arranged in the vertical space , well presented!
