Thanks for making my day with this handsome male Ruby Throat Hummingbird the light glistening in it's iridescence on hie red throat & green flanks & back. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

You have pictured this lovely hummingbird so well, but the feeder is almost a distraction since the reds are a bit blown out. I am not so sure the all black background is the best either, but I do appreciate that this is a matter of taste.
Your focus on the bird is however spot on and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in the feathers of the bird. The stop action is exposure is very good.
The format you have cropped the photo into works well, and the hummingbird has got a fine placement within the frame. An all together lovely and well taken photo Jodi.
