I think that the giraffe is one of the most elegant animals on the African continent. Catching her in mid stride is very cool. The setting is so typical of the African savannah. Good lighting and great focus. It would be so much fun to be standing behind you as a witness to the scene.

Mercy this is a lovely shot. To get or take a shot of a giraffe has to be so exciting unless you're someplace where you used to seeing them. It's a beauty too and look at the golds, wheats and green earthy neutral colors captured in this image so clear. Great job!

Very well timed shot. Mid stride with no motion blur - exceptional camera management.
Earth tones are well displayed and contrast nicely with the blue sky.
Focus is sharp throughout allowing a deep DOF.
The off center framing implies a direction and the vegetation gives the eye something to equate the size of the Giraffe.
