What a beautiful calm fall day shot! It looks so peaceful there. I l9ve the reflections of colors in the water and how they look just a bit blurred. Looks like a water color painting. Very pretty!! Well done.

It does look pretty and worth taking a photo nice reflection in this and the softish colors look quite good,can just make out the fishermen although if i had one suggestion in this was to get a more pronouched view of them just to add a more human touch sometimes that adds something to general scene...Brian

Your kind comments are greatly appreciated, thank you! As you might imagine, I was much more focused on the colors reflecting on the lake than the fishermen and was using a telephoto lens so was quite a ways away - didnt see them until I photoshopped!

The reflection of the trees and colors in the water is lovely. It looks like there was a little breeze - creating a slight ripple on the surface, preventing a perfect mirror-like image. I like how you placed the yellow bush in the foreground.

I think this is a truly beautiful autumn scene, and I especially like how well the reflections from the trees are captured in the shiny water. I also like that a bush is included in the foreground, because this gives the photo a fine depth.
The photo is quite sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in the trees. The exposure is very good, and I also appreciate the nice and natural colors.
The photo is nicely cropped, and I think it is a fine balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Your composition is good, but I'm wondering if you had taken one step back to include the entire bush in the foreground whether that might have made it even better? But maybe you couldn't for some reason?
