The eagle is gorgeous, in a unique position near its landing. The browns, whites, yellow eye and beak, all are so nice. The background is just as nice with the pinks, purples, blues, and creams.

This is GORGEOUS! I don't think anyone could ask (or hope for) a more artistically beautiful capture of a bald eagle. Excellent timing to catch this impressive bird in flight with the pastel sunset colors of the sky as a backdrop. A real stunner, Pat!

Outstanding shot. The flap of the wings are in a perfect position to show the eagle's full power. The lighting and focus are spot on. The spread of the tips of the wings are sharp and full of detail. The lavender background of the sky is a wonderful contrast to highlight the eagle. Outstanding.

The story is all there in this timeless capture.

Hi Pat, This is the best shot I've ever seen you do of an eagle. I thought the last one you did with the feathery wingtips was awesome, but this outshines that! Love the feathers! The focus and lighting make this shine and when you add the sunset....WOW! Gorgeous does not describe this shot at all! You'd get a 20 score from me if it was possible! I'm adding this to my Favorite List!
