A fine and delicate change of pace, Pat.
Very good choice of mixed media applications. The fine details of the petals stand out and highlighted by the painterly effect.
Contrast and lighting are even across the scene. I am most impressed by the subtle contrast between background and the center of interest - its Smokey, mysterious and yet benign.
To get such realism from a digital capture means the camera image must have been a pip.
The diagonal positioning within a tightly cropped frame makes eye contact immediately.

nice rich capture. the angle of the shot of this colorful flower is great. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

You already have tulips? Could it be a sign of early spring? It's a beautiful image. The bicolor tulip is very well-focused and the greyish background really off sets it and helps it stand out.

Thank you very much LynnMarie! No we don?t have anything blooming right now, I buy the tulips in water bowls d have them indoors. We have about 3 feet of snow in our yard .
