A beautiful stop action picture of Glen Ellis water veil crashing over the tall cliff you long exposure give the water the appearance of a net curtain or a Wedding veil blowing in the breeze. the rocks on either side of the falling water frames it. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

The waterfall is stunning in the setting it is in: the rocks behind and they are like a wall of rocks; the color of the waterfall and the whites when it falls; and the water with another rock at the bottom. Fine photography and thanks for sharing, artist Bob.

What a beautiful waterfall Bob! I always love the slow shutter speed effect you achieve with water, it's something I've never quite managed to achieve - but your notes are so helpful! Now all I need is to find a waterfall!
Beautifully sharp from the rock at your feet right up to the top. Your exposure is spot on creating lovely natural colours and your composition, with the rock in the foreground, is good. I love that mini fall on the right, deciding to break away from the mainstream and go its own way - I can relate to that!

Hi Charlotte, you don't necessarily need a waterfall, per se. A fast flowing river with lots of rapids or a waves crashing on the shore will do. Just let your creative side take hold and have fun.

This stretch of NH 16 from Conway to Gorham has everything in the way of photo opts and the great part is most off it is on the side of the road.
