What an outstanding capture of an interesting action from the beautiful mallard, my artist friend. That green head with a touch of blue and the colors in his feathers and orange web feet are so colorful. The fog coming in, mingling with blues in the background creates loveliness there too.

Pat,
A beautiful picture of the Mallard drake stretching both his right wing & leg while standing on his left leg on the gravel mixed snow. The available light glistening on his iridescent green head. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Have seen loads of duck photos on here usually from the same person,but this is far superiar in my opinion,good clarity and the lowish angle works well in this,good one...Brian
