There are so many positives about this photo. I like your double borders with the small description in the middle. I like your Rule of Thirds, detail, color and contrast.

Thanks a million for your complementary review on this pair of Robins perched side by side. Other than in the breeding season this would NOT happen. Robins are VERY territorial I will chase out any Robin that dares to enter it' territory.

In my humble opinion Susan, this is your finest bird composition, to date that I have reviewed. Simply breathtaking.

The camera settings are pin point sharp and have produced a high resolution image of good contrast, color and tonal range.

The DOF is excellent for the subject matter and there is strong detail across the entire image. I like how you kept the branches in the frame and focused, they add context and dimension to the composition.

Two Rogue-gorge is a beautiful composition that is expertly framed and makes use of excellent lighting and is captured with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Susan, Oh Susan I am so sad today for my cupboard is bare and that's not fair for I do not have a six to give to you today... Bob

This is beautiful bird photography. You have framed it well. The light, and the composition have worked well and you have caught the cute and contended look of the birds very well. I love your insight into the technique of photographing the birds. Good effort.

This is such a sweet image with the two robins , they are well placed within the frame.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural. Well defined detail in feathers, and I appreciate the clear eyes!
Well composed and presented!

    Pat,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this pair of Robins perched beside each other. Robins except in the breeding season are VERY territorial & will chase any other Robin out of it's territory.

a nice close up of these two birds called "rouge gorge" despite the fact that they are yellow and not red as the name would indicate;........

    Fred,
Merci beaucoup mille fois for your complementary review on this pair of Robins perched side by side. This is VERY unusual except in the breeding season as Robins are very territorial & will chase off any Robin that invades it's territory.
An explaination why the Robin is called "Rouge gorge" or Robin Red Breast....
Look closely and you?ll see: the European Robin?s breast isn?t red. It?s actually a distinctly orange color. So why "Redbreast" and not, you know, "Orange-breast"? It may be because the word "orange" just wasn?t an option when the bird was named. Oranges ? the fruit ? first arrived in England in the 1300s. But it wasn?t until the 1500s that the word "orange" was used in England to describe a color. By the time "orange" entered wide-spread use, Redbreast was established as the bird?s name.

A good looking nature image posted here, but I do not understand your title?! Your fine and classical composition gives us a good look at that pretty pair and their location. Sharpness and exposure are good. Nicely done!
