Lovely capture. The photograph captures the essence of nature as a bird tirelessly builds its nest amidst the lush green surroundings. The beautiful shades of green provide the perfect backdrop for the bird's intricate work, reminding us of the wonders of nature and the importance of preserving it. I wish I had a six to award this lovely pic. Bravo!

This is a great photo. I like the background is just leaves with no distractions. I also like that you used the Rule of Thirds on the robin.

Susan, we actually have a little Robin nesting above our outdoor patio's ceiling fan. We are just considering the Robin part of our household, now, and we will be aware as we use our back patio. We only bought our house six months ago. It's our first Spring/Summer here. We call our patio bird, Pati of course :))

Alex,
The American Robin is a Thrush & is twice the size of this an European Robin which is a Fly-catcher.
The Pilgrim Fathers named your "Robin" because it had a red breast.

That's interesting information I didn't know. Thank you, Susan!

Yes, nests are springing up almost everywhere! Looks like and sounds like you found a very socially responsible bird over there. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well taken!

Aww bless him, he's working so hard! But hopefully he'll produce lots more robins for your garden!
A dear picture of him, and he turned his head nicely to show off his profile and his leaf.
Your posts are always finished off so well too, with the lovely borders you create! Nice one Susan.
