A park bench with deep shadows13 total reviews

Rules are for the newbees who need to stay in the box. The adventurous who have paid their dues make their own rules. This is proof, an amazing shot, highlighting the long shadows of a rising sun. Only the experienced will know the right shot at the right time and you definitely got your sliver of time right. This is truly a six. Ray

yes rules are ment to be broken and early morning light can be good to take photos [provided you get up and out] there used to be a photographer on here[name escapes me]who lived in kent and used to be our at really early before 5 a.m. but he did get stunning shots.
anyway back to this one although its quite good i think [and you probarly will disagree] that the sun just needs to be turned down a tad and i think i would have got lower and taken a vertical one as well and even b/w i might have tryed [easy when you are not there] but i do like the bench in this and of course it fits the contest as well...Brian

No I do agree Brian, but I tried it with the levels but it just came out looking er, well, toned down! Lol And it didn't look natural at all. And yes a lower shot might have been fun, and getting the rays of sun through the back of the bench. I can always go back and try again! :)
Thanks for your review.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of you breaking the rules. Colours, textures and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!
