Who could resist this little fella? A charming capture that is beautifully composed with lovely reflecting elements and sharp focus.
For me, a bit of brightening on the robin may have added to the interest.
A wonderful catch!

Thank you so much Easton, yes you?re right, maybe I should have lightened it a bit (it was a particularly dull day).

Love the title Charlotte! This little robin is very cute! Love his rippled reflection. I winder if he is thinking ..."How did I do that?" LOL I definitely had a lot of fun gazing at this little guy! Focus and lighting show this little guy of well! Thanks for sharing and Good luck in the contest! :o) Nancy

Thank you so much Nancy! I do love our little robins, they?re so small and delicate looking, they can often get quite tame too.

The European Robin is so cute, much smaller then theAmerican Robin.
This little one is perfectly placed within the frame and I love the reflection.
Well focused, this image is clear.
Exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural.
Well composed and presented!

Just looking at this and thinking and on reflection think this is a nice little shot, good detail in the robin, but slightly feel the other reflection makes you wonder what it is and distracts a tad,but i think this was an oppurtune moment that could easily have been missed so can see that if looking for another angle then the robin might have flown of,so minor thing....Brian

Thanks Brian, I took it on a busy street in Colchester so even if I?d changed my angle something else would no doubt have been reflected - it?s a street lamp and a tall building btw. But I totally agree with you, it would have been better without.

Charlotte,
A beautiful stop action picture portrait of this cheeky little Robin & it's reflection in the rainwater puddle. Beautiful stop action composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Good luck in the contest.

Fine capture of the robin and his reflection. This definitely is good for the contest and best wishes. The well-fed roving is adorable. Nice icy tree, some reflection. Really witty tile.
