I absolutely love this stunning photograph you have here of the Alnwick Castle in Northumberland UK. Tourist places sure are difficult to capture a decent photo free of people! This is awesome.
The field of flowers and that active sky make for a wonderful scene!

Yes they are, and I really hate having tourists in any shot - I had to sit there for quite a while waiting for them to disappear!

One of the places on my bucket list to visit,this is a good landscape simply because apart from good dof you have part of the castle as well as distance scenery plus a foreground ,combination of all three work in unison [and no tourists]pity though no harry potter on a broomstick...brian

One of the places on my bucket list to visit,this is a good landscape simply because apart from good dof you have part of the castle as well as distance scenery plus a foreground ,combination of all three work in unison [and no tourists]pity though no harry potter on a broomstick...brian

You should have come when I was still there, you could have had free board and lodging! Alnwick was my nearest town! If you do decide to go, go between May and July as that?s when the puffins breed on the Farne Islands - which is even more spectacular than all the castles put together!

Yeah that?s the problem, it?s always so expensive, especially the hotels and B&Bs in the Uk, plus petrol and entrance fees!

A beautiful & atmospheric picture of Alnwick Castle in Northumberland, in the North East of England just South of Scotland. the sun's rays breaking through the clouds lighting up the tower on the right & the bed of Daffodils beneath it. while the windbown rain clouds in the blue sky make a perfect and atmospheric backdrop. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.
