It certainly does, he looks like he's in shock having been dragged from the depths and placed on that lily pad!
A very cute and smile-worthy painting Jewell. Your practice is paying off, those lilies and their pads are very nicely painted. I do like the weeping willow fronds dangling into view, they kinda finish it off.
