What a great shot. Agreed, the sun rays coming through the trees is outstanding and makes the shot. The monochromatic feel is dramatic. I like the contrast with the strong vertical trees against the random delicate leaves in the foreground. You are lucky to have so many subjects to photograph in AK. It is like a travelogue for the rest of us!

Thanks very much Allan! The seasons change quickly up here and fall is very short, it will start snowing as early as September and the winters here are super cold ! This is way north of where I live ! I am honored by your six stars!
