You have captured this running dog so well, and the stop action is just perfect. The sun is a perfect background for this brown dog, and it is standing out from it in an excellent way.

The photo is pin sharp showing truly clear and well defined details in every part of the dog and especially the wet fur. The exposure is spot on.

The format and framing works well, and so does the centered position of the dog. I think this is a great looking and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

A beautiful stop action picture of this Golden Retriever racing along the strand with a tennis ball in her mouth. The sunlight highlighting her wet golden curly fur coat standing out clearly from the blurred lighter coloured sandy beach. Nice one for this competition, you've managed to keep the dog beautifully crisp with good use of dof, keeping the background blurred.
My only nitpick is that he's bang slap in the middle of the shot, when he would be better placed more to the left to give him more space to run in to - easier said than done I know!
Everything else about the shot is good, including perfect exposure.
