Beautiful photograph of the bird that is familiar with you and showing off so nicely.
Great background of the autumn leaves even with the snow already on its way. Thank you for sharing Pat.

the bird says "hmmm i thought i put on deodorant this morning!" lol..cute capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this bird checking out under wing is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

Pat,
A beautiful picture of this Stella Jay perched in a Roan tree as it's preens it's wing feathers. The light catching the blue iridescence on the feathers while also sparkling in it's eye. The golden blurred background makes a beautiful contrast to the Jays dark plumage. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Such a good bird shot Pat and its a bit like sange and her view of bird studys in as much as she knew her subjects behaviour which is why she got good photos as such and this one reminds me of that, good use of dof as well...Brian

Another good looking nature image presented here! Your classical and fine composition gives us a lovely look at that beautiful bird cleansing itself. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well taken!

A wonderful capture. Nice to see the feathered grace in its purest form, a bird in its natural habitat. The light, colours and the framing are perfect. Thanks for sharing!
