It looks like it is in a state of despair! Pictures of yyeateryear constructions can be a metaphor for the passage of time and the impermanence of all things. They remind us to cherish the moments and objects we have while they last. A very well captured picture.

Hi Sesha.. The covering always looks like it has been beaten up. Its there to protect the bridge supports from the weather. In this case two Paddleford Arches the main weight bearing structures are protected by the 'House' built over them. Take heart, there are others that are worse looking than this one and they are still in use. Thanks for the review... Bob

WOW! I love this rustic scene of the wooden bridge with a roof, and Autumn foliage on each side. The blue sky even made a nice background and contrast the gold leaves and brown woods of the bridge, too. Well captured and well framed.

This one is definitely inspiring! I love the position, how your not to low and yet low enough to take the onlookers eyes down the road to what ever lies beyond. Great view!

Hi Bob!
That's a fine looking photo of this Covered Bridge,my friend!
There aren't many of those left over here in eastern New York state so this picture is very enjoyable
to look at!

Hi Sean.. They have become 'keepsakes' throughout NE. Aesthetics aside, the construction methods varied by the builder. Some methods were so unique it was almost a signature. Akin to your artistic style being easily recognized.
Thank you so much, for the review and great rating ... Bob
