Wonderful image and wonderful story. They are luck to have you! Good luck in the contest and thank you for sharing! I used to be the rescue coordinate at our lock shelter and dealt with some of the lowest forms of human society let me tell you. The won't let me post a link here but go to youtube and search Watch Thousands of Dogs Run Free in This Magical Sanctuary by national geographic. I would love to do something like that if I ever won the lottery.

The detail and realism you have captured in this rendition of her shows how strong and fine the bond between the two of you was.

It is always such a pleasure to view your work, my initial impression here was that I am looking at a photograph. Daisy is a beautiful girl , her story is so sad. Thank you so much for rescuing her and taking such good care of her. I also volunteer for a rescue.
You show her gentle spirit here, she is so well rendered with accurate shape and structure, excellent attention to the details, this makes me wish I could give her a hug.

Thank so much for your kind review Pat! Sadly Daisy's story isn't all that uncommon in my neck of the woods. On behalf of all the critters, thank you as well for your work in animal rescue. They certainly need all the help they can get.
