A fine looking nature image posted here! Your good and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of a very pretty bird munching on a tasty berry. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

Pat, you are amazing. You caught this beautiful Bohemian Waxwings toss a berry into the air and then catch it. Even better the berry is in midair. Your timing is amazing. The bird is beautifully colored around the head an bill and the wing tips. Does this bird always toss its berries? ha ha. This is very enjoyable. Ray

Thanks so much for sharing this. Your background is so nice, the dark Bohemian waxwing against its lighter colors. The colorful wings and tail feathers along with the iced-touched berries are very pretty. I had never seen this beautiful bird before.

This is a very nice photo, it is focused really well and the framing is well centered with the berrie in his beak and the other ones at his feet. I thought that it was cold here until you said what the weather was up there, sitting here watching the game and shivering now. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work. JackJr.

Hi Pat, What an awesome shot! Love how you caught the Waxwing in this position. Not only are ethe position of the wings and tailfeathers cool, I love the position of the head with the berry. Love the fact that it's frosted! Your timing was perfect. The lighting and focus show this guy off beautifully! This would make a great Christmas card! I love it! :o) Nancy

Excellent photography here Pat. At first I was concerned about the eye, but I realized it has its eye closed.

all aspect of this fine take are well within accepted limits for color, contrast, lighting and framing.

The white balance is well controlled for the snow.

We have these birds here in NH but I have yet to see one.

Well done... Bob
