Hi Jack.. Flower blossoms whether it be a beautiful Rose or a curious looking weed they all test your focusing skills.
Overall, this is a fine shot of a Rose. For future reference, reduce the exposure either in the camera or in postproduction. That will highlight the center and give the outer petals just a tad more detail.. Just a thought.
The framing is awesome, nice one... Bob

I love this shot, this is certainly my genre! The soft pink fading at the edges is what I have tried to create digitally many times. I think the framing is perfect for this shot. Well focused and sharp. Great job!

This is a perfect rose, the bud or center so pink and beautiful. The light pinks and whites in the surrounding petals make it look more diverse. The rose alone deserves a "6" and the capture of it as well.
