Wow that is amazing and can understand why you wanted to stay longer. The colors are so unique as the rush of water falls and you pov allows us to see the flow and color perfectly.
Lighting is great and the focus and dof are good.

This is such an unusual color of the waterfall. I've not seen anything like it. Where in Florida did you see this. I live in Florida also would like to see for myself. The color and focus is spectacular and the capture of the water falling is excellent. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks much for this review. We winter in Sarasota and went for a drive one day. It was east or southeast of Sarasot on just a remote part/trail. There was a wooden walkway to the waterfall. The waterfall was only 15-20 feet across and 4 feet high or so. So not Niagara falls by any stretch. But the colors were magnificent, especially at low light. I searched on Google maps but just cannot locate it again. It certainly was not a well used area.

Hi Allan, I can totally see why they call this Copper Falls! I have never seen anything like this. The colors are so strong! Love the focus and lighting. They show this off to its full advantage. Hi Nancy, thanks for the review. I totally agree, finding new things keeps things interesting. This site was just a random county part with a wood walkway leading to this small waterfall. Being totally unexpected made the shoot more exciting. I probably took 50 photos from fast shutter speeds to low shutter speeds. I liked the very detailed image in this case over the silky smooth shots. Thanks again!

What a magnificent scene. And yes, the color is unusual. The foamy foreground is also amazing. Informative artist's notes. The square orientation fits well as it showcase both the flow of the water and the thick foamy foreground. Wish you luck in this contest.

Thanks soulfeeder, glad you liked the image and left such a wonderful review. I have this same shot with a slow shutter speed but loved the detail in the water with the fast shutter speed of 1/2,000.
