What a great photo of this pair of painted turtles engaged in sunbathing! Excellent focus and exposure as well as natural colors, I especially like their diagonal placement in the photo, and the curve of the log draws the eye from the front turtle to the back one!

I like the way they are positioned on the log. And their heads up poses!
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural. Well composed and presented!

Love this shot, a really cool angle and perspective. Depth of field, composition and sharp focus are all great. The only thing keeping me from a six is the sky area. Mainly a small cleanup of the smug on the lower left would have done it. But well done :)

The blue area is actually water, not sky. I took this photo from a path that was a little higher up than the pond. The stuff in the blue area is stuff floating on the pond or reflections of the sky on the water. Thank you so much for the great review!

Lol, I thought those clouds were a bit strange looking. But it was really that larger kind of dirty looking smug that I would have removed. Almost looks like it was something on your lens. At any rate I love the photo.

Such a cute and tender scene between the big and little turtle. I like the unique angle, too, showcasing their neck and its lines as well those patterns in their shell. The undistracted background really made these turtle to stand out in the frame. Lighting, angle, and focus are superb. This scene also tells a story of a journey. A pleasure to view.
