A lovely photograph of this head of beautiful flowers. I think you are right in calling it a Sweet William. Beautiful delicate flowers with excellent focus and clarity showing wonderful detail.

A very beautiful visual presented here of these amazing flowers. I love the soft, petals colors, textures and tones. The background adds to this visual delight. Well done.

I'm pretty sure your identification is correct, they are quite pretty and the red and white coloration stands out beautifully from the surrounding greenery. Excellent focus and exposure. I can appreciate your effort to take this photo; I have run into similar issues with flowers growing on a slope, but it's been with me being able to get close enough to get a decent photo as they are usually way up the ( STEEP) slope; billy goat I am NOT-lol! I'm glad you got your shot!

Hi LeeAnn.. "If you want the shot that matters. Then you have to be willing to get that shot." Sage advice from my mentor my dad.

Thank you, for the excellent review and outstanding six rating! I'm glad you liked the post ... Bob

You are right, Bob, these are the blossoms of Sweet William. They look pretty lash and well cared. Excellent angle, focus and lighting. You've really showcased the best part of these Sweet Williams ruffled petals and various patterns and shades of red-pink. The greeneries accentuates its colors more and made a strong contrast. The square frame fits well and its bouquet's placement. A pleasure to view. I also like the well-written artist's notes.

Hi Nieves.. I took several shots of other varieties left and forgotten in this once beautiful little garden. Several because these little gems are difficult to photograph. I used a light meter to calculate the K value for White Balance. Because of the slope and curvature of the ground the light varied for each angle. But it was a lot of fun.
Thanks for the review, greatly appreciated... Bob
