I am pretty amazed that you did not spooked this hawk while you sit about 4 feet away from it. Love the clarity of details in the chest. Great angle capturing its eye. Enjoyable artist's notes. Well captured and well framed.

Thank you. He was just very determined not to leave his pray. He did keep one eye on me most of the time. It was pretty cool. But not for the cardinal though.
