Great capture of the Painted Lady and interesting background. Looks like you got a bee or beetle just above the wing as well - the grey background make the color of the butterfly pop. Good focus especially with the windy conditions you described.

I am so glad that you did learn also from Kathy Banich. I love the angle and lighting. Focus is already good, but you can still make this sharper by really focusing on capturing the Painted Lady and cutting of the sage. Overall, this is already sharp but you can still make it sharper. Great shot and a pleasure to view.
