Wow what a capture Susan! I've never seen any sort of Tit so obviously trying to get to the inside of a flower before!
I can see one foot holding the flower, was the other one clinging to a branch or a twig or something? How on earth does he balance?!

Thanks a million for your complementary review on this little Coal Tit clinging to the Fuchsia flower bud as it attempts to get at the nectar through a hole it will make near the top by the stem. The Coal Tits & the Blue Tit both do the same thing to get at the nectar. Coal Tits are quite common in the British Isles.

Bees go into the flower from below to get both Pollen and nectar.
