HI Pat, When it comes to taking eagle pictures.... "You Rock!" Love how you can really see the colorations of this bird! Top notch focus and lighting really allow us to enjoy the shot! The open wings at take off really create quite a look-see! Love everything about this image! Definitely enjoyed the view! :o) Nancy

Well Done - Pat! As we have already shared, we both "Love" the Eagles!
As a fellow photographer I appreciate the challenge in capturing this shot. The challenge to focus on the subject and not have the camera focus on a blade of grass (we only have a spit second to get these shots).
In addition to focus, you obviously had all the camera settings well dialed in to deliver a crisp, clean, detailed "Second" in time!
I love the way you are a realist and do not attempt to over saturate or add vibrancy to your images. I'm the same way. The heavens have afforded us such wonderful wildlife - I've never seen a need to try to correct the beauty among us.
You have offered this juvenile room on the left to continue flight.
Again - a great image. Curious why you did not post it to the "In Flight" contest? It would have been a top contender!

An amazing scene of the juvenile Bald Eagle in flying motion. I like how you freeze its motion. Clarity of colors and patterns, even the eye. Great angle, framing placement and lighting. I love the scene of those dried grass blades, too. A pleasure to view.
