Pat, you are certainly the alpha leader of landscape photography. I can only dream of ever getting some of the shots you post!
This image isn't simply beautiful or gorgeous - it's "Glorious"! And worthy of 100 stars. I'm sitting here trying to find the words to express the splendor of this shot. Maybe the yellows in the sky, the reflections on the water and the symmetry / balance those reflections bring to the scene. Maybe it's the snow-covered peaks that you have managed will masterful knowledge of exposure and light. Maybe it's the darker cloud cover in the top left corner that works with the land in the bottom right-hand corner, thus creating a natural type of frame or vignette. Maybe, just maybe it's all of those things that have come together and made for this breathtaking shot.
I would love to know if you use filters. How you balance your exposure to avoid clipping and blocking? I could learn so much from you - maybe after the holiday, if you have time, we can exchange some emails / messages, and you can offer me some pointers on Landscape photography.
This would be phenomenal presentation on aluminum.

I do use filters when it is very sunny and I want to cut the glare , The main thing I look for in a landscape is a sky with color, I also use f stop of at least 6 to bring out the details. I will be happy to exchange emails with you!

A very beautiful & atmospheric sunset picture with the beautiful colours in the sky reflected on the glisteing surface of water's of the Turnagain arm if the inlet. Artistic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Pat this sunset is a golden sky. I guess everyone pulls over and photos the sunset and then goes on their way. A story book sunset that everyone can appreciate. Simply wonderful. Ray
