I hope your Teddy get better and recover from their boo boo. This picture is amazing!! This looks like a post card you give to someone who is not well. You shading/blending and attention to detail is amazing. Beautiful, thank you for sharing!! (I would give the 6 star rating but I have no more left!)

It was fun reading your notes Mark, and I think your observations are right. When that is said, I think this is a great still life and soooo cute. I especially like the color pallet in this drawing, and also that a window with a view is added. The use of light is just excellent.
This image is of course also done paying such a good attention to details, and with very good use of high lights. The colors are crisp and clear.
The format is just perfect, and with the teddy off to the left, and the window off to the right, it is such a good balance in the composition. I think this is a truly sweet, lovely and well done drawing Mark, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Oh I love your definition, I too think still life of flowers can be boring, but boy its hard for me to draw lol,,,I prefer photos than doing art from a placed object. so I wonder does photos of still art and me doing it count? lol,, that teddy looks like the one I have. lol,, poor teddy with a boo boo

This is an refreshingly adorable entry for the contest, I'm not really impressed by bowls of fruit or vases of flowers,there's not much new that you can do to them,except add a skull-lol! This is such a sweet scene of teddy propped up in bed where he can gaze upon the wintery night scene outside the window. This is beautiful, with a wealth of detailing and special touches like the lantern and little tree on the nightstand,folds on the blanket, bandage on the bear's head (definitely slippery outside!) Wish you all the best in this contest!
