Interesting painting of your blue flowers. I like the way they almost appear 3D.
The black background is a good choice. The white outline of each petal is a nice touch as well. Good luck in the contest.

Blue flowers always capture my attention, these are beautiful , Ray and so very well created with such great attention to detail, they are structured very similar to the Gerbera Daisy, I love the prominent center outlined in white , , that really works to emphasize the deep blue petals.
I love the way you arranged them to fill the space and I appreciate that you included the stems, this makes the flowers look more real and we feel like they are growing in this clump .
