A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and full composition certainly gives us an unusual view of a bug. We do not get those types of bug here in England. Where are you based? Well done and good luck!

Thank you, I just read that these bugs are native to Asia and spread from there all over the world, I guess they didn't make it to UK, good for you:)) I am on Crete and we have them in abundance.

i remember as a teenager i got sprayed by one these guys..oh yeah they live up to their name. lol. good capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this stink bug is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

i remember as a teenager i got sprayed by one these guys..oh yeah they live up to their name. lol. good capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this stink bug is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

Thanks, Mark, I have some early memories of them too, picking wild raspberries, these guys were always nearby and we had to be careful not to eat sprayed berries, they were nasty:))

This is a pet fabulous piece of macro photography! The details are so clear! The way that the sun shines through the subject creates a cool dynamic. I think there was also a macro photography contest as well as an insect contest.
