Brilliant. Love the colours in the sky. Almost on fire. Great composition. Trees silohuetted against the sunrise. Taken form a spot in almost total darkness looking at the fire in the sky.

That's what I like to see, "sunrise/sunset". If you look closely, you can see strips of yellow, dashing into the blue. I like it, and appreciate you posting it for all of us to see. Thank you, orion008

This is my kind of picture, sunset time. The colors in this picture are simply brilliant. I think the pine tree on the left gives it a great deal of dimension and shows how far you are from the horizon. Yet it is clear. Great job. I take it since the rooster is getting the chow, that this is actually sunrise.

LOL! Yep, sunrise! I am really glad you like the tree on the left, I really do but some have not been trilled about it! Thank you sassy!

Very nice capture! The colors are obviously amazing. I think I would have liked to see this cropped from the top more, because there is a lot of empty space up there. It would also have given the silhouetted trees on the horizon more weight. I really like the tree to the left. In some ways it seems out of place, in other ways it really adds a nice touch to a picture that could have otherwise been "just a picture of a sunrise." There is some color detail in the tree, and if you got that with a flash, you did a very good job. It is not washed out, or flat, which is very often what happens when you use the flash on the camera. A flash even with the lens takes away depth. Nice job on this, Low!!

Thank you very much shiv!! Yep, used a flash, was pretty dark in my little forest here, also used a wide angle. I have taken so many of these shots and this is the only one I have ever gotten excited about because they usually don't develop like anything near what I saw. P.S. Still workin' with the photoshop stuff, although did nothing to this one except crop the bottom a bit. I appreciate you!

Excellent job on this. Just enough landscape included and wonderful colors caught in the sky. Very good work on this one.

Amazing work. This photograph has excellent composition. The colors are beautiful. The mood you captured is one of a peaceful morning in the forest. All that is need is a nice hot cup of coffee and a confortable camp chair.

Really Cool colors in that sky, Debbie. I really like those golden wispy clouds towards the center. Those trees along the bottom that are sillowetted aginst the sky are great. OUTSTANDING!!! WELCOME BACK

I love how you have the sky looking like it is on fire. I think you need to get rid of the tree in the foreground or include more of it.
